The GS Audio Platinum 4000 series gets a makeover with the new MK2 version, which brings a substantial change to the subwoofer design. The carbon dust cover, already present in the previous version, has been redesigned by our technical staff: it now has a concave shape with a hollow towards the inside. This construction choice is not only aesthetic, but brings concrete improvements to performance:
More effective cooling of the voice coil, thanks to better heat dissipation even from the front side.
Elimination of the micro-vibrations typical of the flat dust cover, ensuring a more stable and linear movement of the cone.
Increased structural rigidity, resulting in more precision and reliability at high powers.
The GS Audio Platinum 4000 MK2 withstands up to 2000 W RMS (D1/D2 Ohm) and features a powerful 220 mm magnet assembly with "UFO" plates, 81 mm pure copper voice coil on aluminum backing, and red Nomex double-layer spider with stitched tinsel. Pressed cellulose cone, 30 mm round foam suspension and pneumatic rubber edge ensure optimum excursion and sealing, while push terminals accept cables up to 16 mm². The new MK2 concave carbon dust cover increases rigidity and thermal dissipation, eliminating the micro-vibrations of flat versions.

IMPEDANCE: Choice of dual 1-ohm and dual 2-ohm
RESONANCE FREQUENCY (Fs): 33-36 Hz, ideal for everyday listening (hip hop, trap, bassone). For fast genres (techno, EDM, high BPM) we recommend reducing the boxes about 5 cm in width to raise the box tuning by 2-3 Hz.
RECOMMENDED PAIRING: To be paired with GS Audio amplifiers from 1500 to 3000 WRMS.
