The Platinum FLAT series woofers are designed for customers who want to achieve very high sound pressure levels while maintaining excellent sound quality. Every component is developed and optimized within the Italian headquarters of GS Audio, the result of over 15 years of experience in the car audio industry.

The Y38BH ferrite magnet ensures excellent efficiency even in compact spaces, making installation easier in limited environments. The 2” (50 mm) voice coil with vented Kapton former and CCA wire (Copper-Clad Aluminum) provides high thermal resistance and great frequency response, thanks to the light weight of the moving assembly.

To ensure maximum reliability, GS Audio uses special adhesives for strong and lightweight bonding, and high-quality solder for low-resistance electrical connections. The magnetic plates are dimensioned according to the field generated by the ferrite magnet: this precise balance guarantees a strong magnetic field in the air gap, improving control, dynamics, and overall efficiency.
