The GS Audio GS-8BASSB is an active powered subwoofer designed to improve low frequency response in OEM and aftermarket systems.
With its built-in amplifier and compact design, this system offersquick and easy installation, making it ideal for cars, RVs and vehicles where deeper bass is needed without taking up too much space.
The 8"/20 cm subwoofer is designed to provide dynamic and controlled reproduction of low frequencies, enhancing sound impact and bass presence while listening.
The system features RCA inputs, input level adjustment, cutoff frequency control and phase selector, so the subwoofer can be adapted to the configuration of the installed sound system.

For power connection, it is recommended to use 10mm² OFC (100% copper) wire or 16mm² CCA (copper-plated aluminum) wirefor both positive and negative. For the ground connection, remember to remove the paint from the chassis at the point of contact with the negative cable eyelet to ensure a proper and stable electrical connection.
It is recommended to install a 40A Mini ANL fuse on the positive +12V cable, placed as close as possible to the vehicle battery (at least within 30cm).
In case your car radio does not have RCA outputs, or it is integrated into the dashboard and you do not want to disassemble the whole dashboard, you can buy a small high/low level converter separately, available in our shop. The converter makes it possible to create the RCA signal from the car's rear speakers, thus avoiding work on the front or dashboard of the car.
Being powered by 12 V, the converter also generates the remote out signal, which is needed to automatically turn the subwoofer on and off.
