99.2 - 107 - H68 - D 0.35 Ohm 8 Layers Flat Aluminum Wire - GS Audio Voice Coil Spare Part
Coil made with 100% aluminum filament and anodized aluminum backing developed for subwoofers with ferrite and/or neodymium magnet, for Demo (music media) and SPL competitions (dB Drag categories 1-2-5k and above), where maximum efficiency and light weight is essential. Aluminum, which is lighter than conventional copper, provides greater efficiency and optimal response at both low and high excursions.
Specifications.
Strengths: Reduced weight due to aluminum filament, which improves overall efficiency and heat dissipation. Anodization increases the surface hardness of the substrate, ensuring high rigidity, structural stability and mechanical strength even at high power and high torsional stress. Thanks to tin-plated copper strips, perfect soldering to tinsels is also possible without the need for flux or chemicals.
Manageable RMS power (indicative):
5600 - 7000 W RMS in continuous music regime
12400 - 15400 W RMS for short SPL peaks at low frequency (30-40 Hz)
19500 - 24500 W RMS for short SPL peaks at high frequency (60-70 Hz)
Important note on the power of the coils
The power ratings given for loudspeaker coils are for technical and comparative purposes only. The actual power handling of a loudspeaker depends on multiple factors, including:
Impedance and how it is connected to the amplifier
Frequency spectrum used and type of musical signal
Number and stiffness of spiders and the relative mechanical compliance
Magnet and coilventilation system
Total moving mass that the speaker must move
and many others...
For this reason, it is not possible to define a single, universal value of manageable power: actual performance can vary considerably depending on design and conditions of use.
The user is therefore urged to consider the data as indicative and to pay attention to the correct match between amplifier, loudspeaker and installation.
