Coil made with CCAW (copper + aluminum) filament on fiberglass backing, developed for ferrite and/or neodymium woofers, for Demo (music media) and SPL competitions (dB Drag categories 1-2-5k and above), where maximum efficiency and light weight is essential. Fiberglass, compared with anodized aluminum, offers excellent mechanical strength and good mass containment, favoring structural strength and dynamic efficiency, while aluminum provides greater thermal dissipation under prolonged loads.
Technical Specifications.
Filament height: 15 mm
Form height: 40 mm
Outer diameter: 77.2 mm
Inner diameter: 75.5 mm
Wire material: CCAW (copper+aluminum)
Forming material: Glass fiber
Number of layers: 2

Resistance: 1x4 Ohm
Strengths: Reduced weight for higher SPL efficiency, better dissipation and stability at high powers, kapton reinforced construction for extreme mechanical strength.
Important note on coil power
The power ratings given for loudspeaker coils are for technical and comparative purposes only. The actual power handling of a loudspeaker depends on multiple factors, including:
Impedance and how it is connected to the amplifier
Frequency spectrum used and type of musical signal
Number and stiffness of spiders and the relative mechanical compliance
Magnet and coilventilation system
Total moving mass that the speaker must move
And many others...
For this reason, it is not possible to define a single, universal value of manageable power: actual performance can vary considerably depending on design and conditions of use. The user is therefore urged to consider the data as indicative and to pay attention to the correct match between amplifier, loudspeaker and installation.
