Protection and Advanced Management System (BMS).

The TIT4NIUM LiFePO4 100Ah-M8 13.2Vbattery   is internally equipped with 4 active BMSs placed in parallel that constantly monitor and balance individual cells, offering:

• Overload protection: charge limit voltage 14.7 volts, above this threshold the BMSs will begin to protect the cells by sending excess voltage to resistors placed on the BMS itself;

• Deep discharge protection: lower limit voltage 10.8 volts, falling below this threshold the BMS will disconnect the battery's positive terminal to prevent further discharge and safeguard cell life;

• Performance optimization: maximum energy efficiency due to perfect and continuous cell balancing and extended cell life;

• Thermal control: guaranteed operation between -20°C and +70°C.

Compatibility and Installation

The battery is designed to be PLUG & PLAY i.e. to be installed in place of the original battery or better in the trunk lying close to the main sources of power consumption (e.g. audio system). Lifepo4 batteries can be installed in all positions and do not require ventilation. They are dry and do not leak liqiods and can also be injstalled inside the passenger compartment. In various sizes as visible in the listing we have M5, M6, M8 terminals, or ISO poles depending on the models.

Important Warnings

• Do not combine with batteries of different technology (AGM, lead-acid, LTO, etc.). If you decide to fit LiFePO4 batteries you must change all batteries in the car;

• In case of replacement, you must remove all existing batteries and use only LiFePO4 batteries;

• For periods of inactivity longer than 30 days, we recommend charging with LiFePO4-specific chargers to maintain cell balance; you can find our 12A and higher chargers in the dedicated category on the website.
